I assume in the Document Layout[1] the Fonts: selection of helvet is short for helvetica. Is this correct? I also thought that helvetica was be definition a San Serif font... but when I change the Fonts: selection to helvet (apply) and view DVI I am still seeing serifs. Am I miss interpreting

I assume in the Document Layout[1] the "Fonts:" selection of helvet is short for helvetica. Is this correct? I also thought that helvetica was be definition a San Serif font... but when I change the "Fonts:" selection to helvet (apply) and view DVI I am still seeing serifs. Am I miss interpreting
