export-latex; running latex, bibtex, renaming bbl files, running latex2rtf
fucks up the references exchanging number refs with refkeys!
export-html fails too (cant figure out custom
Quick suggestion. It is what I do all the time, with good results:
(1) export as latex
(2) put in a separate directoy all the stuff you need (latex file and bibtex
files).
(3) install tex4ht

(4) install open office if you don't have already

I am now using the \autoref part of hyperref and it prioduces nice out put but
with multiple references like above I get
'refering to equation 1.x and equation 1.y'

i managed to convert to html and use openoffice to convert to doc (with
stupid html links conserved - i never figured out how to remove those -
i hope it doesnt matter).
i will now go on to reset my nerves using large

footnotes from symbols to arabics? this seems to be tricky within the
title-section?
