Hi all,
Is there a way to insert a 3-D box in lyx ?

I am writing a document about a programming environment that uses multiple
character styles.
0. Plain roman is used for ordinary index entries
1. Italicized roman characters are used for names of mathematical variables
and parameters
2. Typewriter is used for source code keywords

Dear LyX Users:
Would you please let me know if there is anyway to make the footnotes to be
12-font-size and double-spaced?
Thanks a lot.

Hello,
I would like to make a macro that would allow me to write limits in math
mode like it happens with the integral and the sigma - below the symbol.
In the view-> sourse mode I can see that for the integral, for example, the
following happens "\int\limits..." does anyone know how to create, fo
Hi Marshall,
I went through a similar dilemma when I started working with LyX. You
appear to have a much better handle on your needs than I need. That will
probably make your transition a great deal less painful than mine was.

Hi,
I'm starting a project for which LyX appears to be the best choice, but
I have a few questions related to getting started. I'd prefer to ask
them now and start doing things the right way rather than find out six
months from now that I have to go back and change things or, worse, that

Hi,
Is there a way of applying color to a footnote mark while keeping the
footnote itself black? That is, the superscript number in white with colored
background (inside a longtable) and the footnote (outside the table) in
black.
I've tried with footmisc, but I either don't know how to use it or
Hi Gyorgy,
Thanks so much for your comments. I have not used mupad and tend to
create all my charts in Matlab so I was unaware of those features.
Maybe I was too harsh on SWP...but I do vastly prefer LyX. And maybe
your comments might spark some work within LyX on the unimplemented
features you
