temporary ruler in pdf output while editing document

Hello: When editing documents, occasionally it would be very useful to have vertical and horizontal rulers at the edges of the document. The best would be if the pdf viewer had rulers; I don't know any pdf viewer with such feature. A workaround could be to insert rulers using latex code.

can't find url-insert shortcut

Hi: I want to have a shortcut for the insert url option, but i can't find it in the shorcuts menu, and i can't add the function insert-url neither...what am i doing wrong? Thank you
