problems with xetex and polyglossia
I am having some serious problem with a document that uses both xetex and polyglossia. Compilation breaks with the following error (from the log): ! Undefined control sequence. blx@lng@\bbl@main@language The document compiled perfectly last year (It is a grant application, so I can pinpoint exactly when I successfully compiled it last: 8/15/2013) I was using TeXLive 2013 at the time, I am now on TL 2014. A Google searche [1] seems to indicate that this is sometimes due to a recent problem in biblatex---when the polyglossia command \selectdefaultlanguage is missing, biblatex fails silently and result in the quoted message in the log. However, this is not the case for my document: LyX correctly inserts a \selectdefaultlanguage in the exported (Xe)LaTeX file. Yet the error results. I tried exporting to LaTeX and compiling from the command line and of course I got the same error message. *However*: if I hit 's' and force XeLaTeX to continue, everything goes fine, and the resulting pdf is perfect. Anyone has a clue of what may be wrong? I figured out how to change the key bindings through the GUI menu (for anyone as dense as me, you just select the command you want from the options, click 'modify', and then hit the key combo you want to be associated with the command. Then hit 'apply'. It even allows you to override existing key bindings.) Still wondering, though, why the mac.bind definitions are not working when called from a custom bindings file.
Re: Copying a hebrew text from word
Hello Avraham, This works fine for me. Please give more information about your setup - your LyX version, and if possible an example document. Fwd: Copying a hebrew text from word
Dear members of the lyx users team! I sent you this mail a week ago. What I meant is that : when I try to copy the word "אבן" for example, I get "ןבא" instead. Please answer me soon: If you know a way to do it properly, please tell me. If you don't know, please tell me that you don't know. And please do it as soon as you can, and thanks a lot. I will thank you for answering me: I tried to copy a hebrew language text from word to lyx, and I got it in opposite order. How can I do it a correct order? Thanks a lot Avraham Shenkar
Change font size of inline citations
I want the inline citations to appear as font size 'smaller', so that they don't break the flow of text much. The only way I can do it now is select each citation, and set the font size individually. Is it possible to make all inline citations (author year) smaller font by any single switch or command? It would be nice if it can be done from withing lyx, or One workaround i could think of is replacing \citet{bibkey} or \citep{bibkey} with {\footnotesize \citet{bibkey}} using sed, but I am not good at reg exps, especially with so many special characters.
