No. I just had to modify the path since I do not have a path such as

F:/e2015/BibTeX/bibtex/bib/further-4.bib

on my Linux box.

I suppose your path is OK for you.

The log file shows that biber is indeed run (however, it is anyway adviced
that you set biber in Document > Settings > Bibliography, since with
"standard", LyX uses whatever is set in Tools > Preferences > Output >
LaTeX)

Anyway, the problematic line is this:

21:38:53.773: read_file
'C:\Users\Bernd\AppData\Local\Temp\par-4265726e64\cache-c38a9b05b97a81d339b4947ba00f0aacefe00497\recode_data.xml'
- sysopen: No such file or directory at C:\Users\Bernd\AppData\Local\Temp\p

21:38:53.774: ar-4265726e64\cache-c38a9b05b97a81d339b4947ba00f0aacefe00497\
bda77484.pm line 112.

Please delete the folder

C:\Users\Bernd\AppData\Local\Temp\par-4265726e64\

and try again.

This is a known (and obviously hard to fix) problem of biber. Some times
(though very unfrequently) it tries to access such invalid cache folders.
Deleting them always solves the problem. See

The document works for me (after I have adapted the bibliography path to
mine).

For further diagnosis, let me come back to these:

* You do not get a BibTeX log?

* Also, please open View > Messages, try to view PDF and post the complete
output of the messages pane here.

Headings

2015-04-21 Thread Aline Gautrein
Hey Lyx-experts!

I have a new problem with my document ;-)
I want to insert a nice header for the document. I already foudn how to
insert the header wit the package {scrpage2}. However, my document begins
with a lot of lists... (table of contents, list of figures, list of tables
etc.} I want the header to begin at the first (second) page of the first
chapter. I managed to start the page numbering at this page with
\mainmatter. I also tried \thispagestyle{empty} but that did'nt work.

Any suggestions?

Thanks guys!
Aline

Yes, BibTeX inset in a note.

I sent you a screen copy some mails earlier to prove it.

To rephrase some of my previous (unanswered) questions:

* You do not get a BibTeX log?

* Could you please send a LyX example file?

Also, please open View > Messages, try to view PDF and post the complete output of the messages pane here.

I selected "standard".
Changing it to biber does not change anything.

You mean, you do not get a BibTeX log? Did you insert an BibTeX inset in a note, as documented here?

Sorry, here it is:

I do not know what you mean by "Document > LaTeX Log > BibTeX is
missing".
I gave you the output of "Document > LaTeX Log" in the previous mail.

In that Log dialog, there is a combo box where you can select
"BibTeX". If you can't, then biber is not run.

Did you set "biber" as the bibliography processor in Document >
Settings > Bibliography?
