I'm getting the message: error converting into a loadable format when trying to insert .pict, .tiff, or .eps graphics. Are these all the wrong formats to be trying? What works best? Thanks, Jesse

I am brand new to lyx, and was surprised to find myself needing to manually insert pagebreaks for my bibliography page, and for a table float. It seems like it should've happened automatically (I tried both the Report and Article document classes) Also, is there a way to remove page numbers

In fact I do see a class called 'paper' and a lot of other things that look worth checking out, apa etc. unfortunately in my installation (osx) they all say 'Unavailable:' in front of em. Can someone point me to a howto about installing new document classes, or making available those that are
