When I use the \underbar I get an error message. See them below.
In math box, I type
x
\underbar{x}
\underbar{\alpha}
What I get is the following.
First, x is italics.
Second, OK, x comes with
Am I missing something
I guess you should use \underline instead of \underbar (which is used
when pressing Ctrl+U).
