conversion and revision mode

2004-01-21 Thread Harold Mouras
Dear Lyx users,

could you let me know about your best solution to convert lyx files in rtf
files readable under WORD for other users?

I would have another basic question: would exist under lyx a comparable
revision mode than the one existing under word and allonwing to see
corrections done by other users of the same file.

Thank you very much in advance,

Harold

I had usually the best results with exporting to HTML (which can
be happily read by any Word newer than Word97 inclusive). But,
you can try any latex2rtf and similar -- check the paralel
thread about conversion from PostScript (which is actually about
conversion from Word).

allowing to see corrections done by other users of the same

There is an unmaintained patch for it available on www.lyx.org
(search tracking change site:lyx.org on Google), but I really
do not think it is compatible with 1.3.3. It will be officially
available in 1.4.0, but that it won't be available for a long
time, I am afraid.
