I'm having the same issue - it is caused by lack of grouping for that
particular slide. It seems the frame environment need to encompass the
contents of the frame (you will see vertical grouping line on the left
side), otherwise the contents go to the next slide.

If I move over a space with left -, now I'm outside title and hit ret.
