It works! I'm wondering not to it manually. So i read manual latex2html. It said: === -iso_language lang MISSING_DESCRIPTION === I tried to add the option with -iso_language sa or -iso_language arabic. Both of them is not working. Your latex2html does not work properly with Arabic. You can edit the html file manually by adding at the beginning of the html file (at the appropriate place), and ... around the text of the document.

The arabic sentence came out as if there's no support for viewing arabic (ÓÈÍÇæç èÊÙÇäé). However, i can view arabic site via konqueror. Any idea what's wrong? I tried to change appereance and fonts in the konqueror setting to what lyx use (i.e. arabic font), but it didn't fix my problem. Is it lyx or konqueror problem? Thanks, Adinda Praditya

You need to create a file in ~/.lyx/bind/bind and call it ny any name you want: e.g., ~/.lyx/bind/mybind.bind The file should contain the following lines: \bind_file cua \bind "F12" "language arabic" Then, open the preferences dialog and enter "mybind" in the bind file box (or add \bind_file mybind to ~/.lyx/preferences)

Hello Edit your /home/user/.lyx/preferences file and add the following line at the beginning of the LANGUAGE SUPPORT SECTION : \bind "F12" "language arabic" To mix english and arabic in the same sentence, you have just to switch from a language to an other using F12 key. Mixing arabic and english
Dear all,... I have successfully enabled arabic setting to my LyX 1.3.0 (Thanks to Dekel Tsur). But i still can't use F12 to change arabic mode and english mode, although i have the line \bind "F12" "language arabic" in my .lyx/bind/bind file (which there wasn't any file in .lyx/bind/) Was it wrong? Where should i put it? Second, Can i mix both english and arabic words in a sentence or in a section? I tried to, but when i viewed it through dvi, PDF and HTML, it was all in arabic.
