foiltex.sty and foiltex.cls
I found two different tarballs for foiltex. I tried each one, unpacking them in /usr/local/share/texmf/tex/latex and then doing texhash. I reconfigure in LyX and then restart LyX but it never sees foiltex. When looking at the foiltex folder, there are only three files: foiltex.dtx, foiltex.ins, and readme.flt. Where are foiltex.cls and foiltex.sty? I'm running version 1.35 of lyx. Foiltex used to be included. What am I doing wrong? Rick

Rick, Untar the tarball into some directory and then run the command latex foiltex.ins This procedure will produce all cls and sty files, which you have to copy into directories that LaTeX can see.
