Lyx 1.6.2 unusably slow on the Mac
Hi everyone, I just installed the new version 1.6.2 with high hopes of performance enhancements on the Mac. Unfortunately, it is still unusably slow on any longer documents with multiple child documents, literally taking several seconds to insert each and every character. All the 1.6- versions have been like that for me, 1.5.7 is perfectly fine. I am using this on Mac with OS X 10.5.6. I cannot find any mention of this issue on the mailing list, is it really working out ok for everyone else? Dirk.
