Yes, it looks like it was a Compuserve game.

I recently got a FB100 disk drive. I disassembled it to check the belt,
which seemed...okay...
I didn't put it all back together (fool me once, shame on you...) On my
T102 with TS-DOS (in ROM), it recognized the drive. I put in a disk (DSDD)
and TS-DOS said "not-formatted", as expected. So I
started, and then I saw that line and

Yes, the potentiometer is the first thing to check. I had one fail on my
M100. However, on my NEC, the pot is OK, but the contrast still doesn't
work, so I'm interested in finding out if yours has the same failure as
mine.

Using a continuity tester you can test it in-circuit to see if it's the
switch or not. If it's the switch, desolder and replace. If it's not the
switch, it's a trace.

I've forked a fork of a fork of a python-based 8085 assembler:
https://github.com/dplassgit/8085-Assembler-trs80-100 which generates a
BASIC program that you can use to poke your assembly language program into
memory.

My new-to-me NEC 8201 is showing weird LCD behavior
First, the contrast dial does nothing.
Second, the screen "pulses" a little bit.
So, I took it apart and found that:

*. VDD (+5V) and VEE (-5V) are correct when measured on the LCD connector
*. According to the

Hi all,
I just bought an NEC 8201 and it has a strange mod inside: there's a
daughterboard on top of the motherboard with 5 or 6 alligator clips
attached to various spots on the board including 3 or 4 on the RS-232
connector.
For more details, I published a video to see what I'm talking about:
Could be a bad contrast potentiometer.

Yup, mcomm works fine on my Windows 10 laptop, connecting to my M102 via a
usb-to-serial cable.

My question for the forumbrain is: can the keyboard switches be
disassembled for 'deep cleaning'? I would desolder them first, obviously.

Hi all,
Here's another 10-line BASIC game that I've submitted to the 2023 BASIC
10-liner contest (https://gkanold.wixsite.com/homeputerium)
https://github.com/dplassgit/games/tree/trunk/t100/BOUNCE
It's eerily similar to Breakout.
Enjoy!

Hm, I got one answer that said yes they can be swapped and one that says
no. Anyone want to break the tie?
I just got a T102 and noticed that the cursor keys are a little flaky, and
F8 ("Menu" and "Exit") is *very* flaky, which is annoying. Using the DVM I
see that F8 has different resistance electrically. My question is: can I
just swap it with one of the lesser-used switches (e.g., PRINT)? Or are
