The NSC800 conversion is mostly compatible stand alone with M100 software.
There are a couple of things it can't do, like use the cassette port or
importantly it cannot run REXMGR.
(The latter is because all of REX leverages undocumented opcodes. I don't
want to rewrite REX# or REXCPM software f
I should mention that thr hard thing in this upgrade is to desolder the
80C85 and to solder instead a socket into which you plug an adapter board
plus NSC800.

Before the break I built an NSC800 conversion kit for someone who I guess
changed their mind.
So, this kit is here and available if anyone is interested. Ideally you'd
use this with a REXCPM and use it for actual CPM stuff.
