Hi everyone!
I'm new to the group, having been a CoCo1 owner way back when, and
long time lusting after the m100. I've been playing with a Desklink
setup I'm running on a Raspberry Pi, which seems to be going pretty
well, but I've got this weird problem:
Most programs don't load over properly.
Yes very inspiring. Now I want a 3d printer so I can mod my Model T case.
Custom colors... custom badge...
Anyone have a scanner to create a model?

I saw. A telnet session "sd" command will give you native text output
for future reference. If you don't need it scripted, then this is a
simple solution, though it sounds like screen capture + OCD isn't too
difficult either and should be reliable.

Maybe try LaddieAlpha on Linux? I suggest Laddiealpha because I've tested

Some time ago, I designed battery covers to be 3D printed for both the
models 100 and 102. I was able to print and test fit the model 100 version,
but it wasn't until today that someone proved the 102 version works.

Kurt,
What OS are you running on? On Linux, it may be possible to script a
screen scrape. Also, one would think Copy / Paste would be easy, but
from a programming perspective, it is actually more complicated than
simply opening and writing to a file. I can check if the window control

Sure but that would only give me an image of the screen. I need the actual text

Actually telnet will work with Windows also, I was asking about OS
because in LInux, it may be possible to script the screen scrape using
'netcat' vs. requiring an interactive command line session. But I think
the telnet session really wants an interactive session ... scripting may

Yeah Willard I am aware of that. I dabbled in some 8085 coding back in the

mixed Address and Data bus. I know it is all in the timing on the clock.
I think since not much is available in to 102 directly I am going to go
Ken,
Everything I need to copy is in the error window on the screen but I can't copy
it to the clipboard. Would that be easier than writing to a file?

Yeah this is excellent stuff! Well done

No. It would be super simple to add though ... the assembler and linker
already output through a common "stdout" handler (VT_Ide::Stdout in the
ide.cpp file). Would be a simple matter adding a line of code to also
print any messages to a file. The most time consuming thing would be to
add a

Thank You Todd for creating a plastic battery cover for the TRS 80 Model 100.
I am HAPPY to hear that someone actually created a plastic battery cover. I am
sure many M100 users and owners will be HAPPY to get replacement parts created
by a 3D printer. This is good that you and other use 3D print

Hey I'm Greg I have had a 100 for many years but mostly just sat on the
shelf as I didn't enjoy typing in programs just to try them out.. I knew

That is awesome! Best application of 3d printing I've seen yet. :-)

That's why I suggested scraping the screen first, but if you're running Linux
then the Telnet option as Ken suggests would probably be easier (although ISTR
some limitations with it when I tried it years ago).
But I'm curious: why do you need the error messages in text form?

Mike,
Actually that's a great idea. I took the image and ran it through an OCR
