So you want to dump an option ROM...
"So to copy your working option ROMs to TDD use these programs (by
Wilson Van Alst):
ftp://ftp.whtech.com/club100/eme/r2d100.100
To dump them out the serial port use this one:
ftp://ftp.whtech.com/club100/eme/romcom.100
"
On my Model 100 which has a PCSG RAM+ w/option ROM, I am looking for a way
to capture that 32K ROM image into a file on my Windows PC.
If it were a standard 27256 pinout I'd just load it into my EPROM burner
and read the image. However I don't have an adapter for molex-style chip
like the M100
Having experience with the EeePC models I'd advise to go with the 10" models
for typing comfort.
The 901E is my favorite but I often wish I had a 1000E. :)

Hi Frank; you must be on just about every vintage computer list out there ;-)
Any chance you'd release the PCB files for those boards to the unwashed public?

In fact, 5 or 6 years ago I did some of the Virtual-T code development
on my Asus Eee PC laptop because I wanted a native Windows platform (as
opposed to running a Windows virtual machine on my Macbook Pro). So I
know for a fact it will run this machine.

Virtual-T would run fine on that machine.
