Well I can confirm that the notification center works perfectly with dropbox in
mountain Lion. I am using it all the time and there is no need for growl
there…thank god for that! I definitely hear notifications when new files are
added to the DB folder and so on.

a search window. vo shift m on the file and hit enter on open containing folder
