Hi Esther,
Didn't bother in the end, but thanks anyway.

Just 1 question. How do I get into my time machine drive? I haven't ever used
shift command g and don't get drive prefixes for mac. Windows or dos, no
problem but I can't work this out. Sorry for my density. I can find Ll the
folders and files on my boot drive at least.

Hi all
Another DJay for Mac issue which I think somebody else reported a work-around
for recently but I cannot quite remember who or what. If you deactivate the
microphone, then reactivate it, the volume slider keeps resetting itself to
zero. This is a real pain when you need to quickly
There is no work around. just turn on the mic with shift m then activate qn
(quick nav) then right arrow to the slider, interact with down and right arrow
and hit up arrow to bring the mic up.
It would be nice if the the darned thing could remember your setting but I can
see why the dev did
This works a treat. I have done both of these tips. Simple but an effective
solution to an apple remote issue most of us have experienced.
Good luck.

To reply to this post,
More or less what I thought. Thanks, it must have been you who mentioned this.
I think it's something we should point out to the developer. If it's a design
feature, I think it's a mistake. AFter all, if you're leaving speakers enabled
on your main output device when the mic is active,
I agree that maybe ti should be a toggle. if someone is a klutz like I am then
the toggle for it to be to reset the mic switch to 0. if you are very careful
like I am 99percent of the time then there should be a radio button or what
ever to not reset the mic to 0.
I don't know how
As well as this, you can lock a specific remote to a specific device. From
memory, hold the back button and the ok/enter key for 3 seconds to unlock and
menu and ok/enter to lock. We have the remote locked to the Apple TV and mine
to my mbp.

Hi there
I just tried to pair my MacBook Air with my IPhone 4S, and it told me that
the MacBook Air wasn't supported. Have others experienced this problem?
Are there any work arounds?
Thanks for any help with this.
Cheers
Paula

What are you trying to accomplish. To my knowledge you cannot pair a mac with
an ios device. I could be wrong as my knowledge of blue tooth is still not good
and it's constantly changing lol!
Good luck.
