No, not that I know of. The only ones that I have specifically heard of are
used in Courses like the Hadley Braille course.

I'm guessing it's some the of signal to noise ratio, but I:m guessing from my
sound engineering classes I took and some electronics questions on some ham
tests. lol!

I was using my Mac Book and the speech stopped It said speach muted. I wasn't
sure how toget it started so, I decided to shut it down and restart. now when
it starts I get a message saying voice off and that is the end of my speech. I

How are you? Are you by any chance able to 2 finger double tap on the track
pad at the front of your keyboard? Sometimes I accidentally turn the speech
off by doing this, and a 2 finger double tap will turn it back on again.
I'm not great at explaining these things so if anybody knows
double tap the track pad if track pad mode is on with 3 fingers. This is the
same way you mute and unmute speech on the iPad.
