Hello all,
Can we make folders in Voice Dream? Ihave a bunch of recipes that people
have given me and they are in .rtf format. Well, I put them in, but dropbox
would only download one file at a time, and, of course, there's no rhyme nor
organization of the structure because there are no
Hi Brenda,
In the main Voice Dream window, there is a button in the upper left corner that
toggles betweenhome and folders.
When folders is selected, you will notice an add button which is located at
the top of the window near the center of the screen. That button presents a
dialog where
I know the ways to open files, my problem is with a password protected one.
When I go to open it, text edit opens and VO says e degress plus or minus. I've
tried typing in the password on that screen and hitting enter; tab; and VO
space, but non of these work.
If I interact with that line that
Hi Don,
The Mac remembers separate volume settings for its internal speakers and for
anything that might get plugged in to the headphone jack. Could this be the
issue?

Hi all -
I can't seem to password documents using Text Editor. Do I need to buy Pages to
do this? Could the lack of Pages also be the reason why I can't open a Windows
passworded document? -

I use to see that problem with PDF files on my Windows machines, but that was
because the file had been scanned in as an image, and hadn't started life as a
text document. The doc in this case is a word 2007 doc. Maybe Text Edit is too
basic to handle passworded files? -

Hello Andy,
I've never had to deal with password protected documents, but the ability to
password protect is there in Pages in the Document inspector.

Try itext express and see if you can open the doc that way, it's free and so
is the bean word processer. I don't know if those will work, but it's worth a

Before I go for those apps, can you confirm if Text Edit allows for adding

OK you could make a password protected disc image with disc utility and [if you

After launching the disk utility, go to file, then new, then blank disk image.
After that choose the highest inscription they have and put it on your desk
top at first so you can test it out.
After hitting save, you will be presented with a password prompt. enter one but

Hi Chris,
This is probably really really unconventional, but it works. Try an app on the
mac called tunesify. It won't burn the file to anything, but it will convert it
to mp3 or m4a or any other audio format. It works really well. I've trhown all

Never heard of this. Will have to check it out as I just spent a very long time
converting 12 dvds to mp4 and using amadeus to convert to mp3. I don't mind of
