I do this all the time! Roar! I meant viswis. That app rocks and they did help
me read the business card I had trouble with.

I would try webvisum. you will get a live person to help you there. It even
read my business card I had as I needed to get some info off of it.
Good luck.

Hi Esther,
I am just wondering if my email ever reach this thread. I had stated expressed
the same that is in your and Ann's email, but both of you were more thorough
than I. As a user of Prizmo and Text Grabber with my iPhone, with the StandScan
Pro, the accuracy is much better than using my
Sounds a bit like audio hijack which I use to record from my board all the

Hi!
This App would probably be most useful for those of us in Australia, its the
Auspost App and is available free from the Apps Store.
Among the Apps function is the ability to calculate postage costs, track items
with Australia Post tracking numbers - m
Thanks Anne and Esther,
I already have Text Grabber, but I'll look into the ScanStand.
Thanks

Hi folks,
Just changing the subject to reflect a question I’ve been meaning to ask.
James’ original question reminded me to ask the list for a recommendation for a
good scanner to work with the mac? I use Finereader and VuScan mainly. I’m
getting this for work, so I’m interested in something
Hello James,
I agree with Anne that TextGrabber and Prizmo are the best OCR apps for the
iPhone, TextGrabber is currently on sale for $1.99, reduced from $5.99. (The
price just dropped yesterday morning.)

Hello James,
The best OCR apps for iPhone are TextGrabber and Prizmo. Prizmo is easier to
use freehand, but TextGrabber normally gives better results and is faster, as
long as you use something like a StandScan Pro or ScanBox to provide optimal
lighting and positioning.
You can buy the StandSc
Hello All,
,
I wondered if anyone had explored the accessibility of What HiFi? I see you can
buy it from iTunes. I’ll explore if a subscription can just offer a .pdf
download, thus giving the flexibility to use it on any device. Just wondered if
there were any audiophiles who had already explor
Hello all,
Is iTalk Recorder accessible or not?
Thanks in advance,

It may sound silly but I wonder if you are holding the phone around the
wrong way if your app is saying a girl's head. The first time I pointed tap

Yeah, I forgot naming that in what I have for OCR or stuff like that. I do
have it. I need to identify the buttons on the writer, to begin with. I'm
gonna try that later.
I got a kick outof Prismo. My CD-Writer is real high--way above my head.

It's Okay. I'm glad someone answered me. I know that was a question in the
dark, so to speak.
I do have the manual to the device, but, here's what it does. It does
not name the buttons in order and points with arrows to the buttons and
thereis no text that will say what button something is.
Hi listers,
Happy new year to all.
Could anyone please suggest an OCR solution that will allow me to scan printed
books using an iPhone? I hear that Zoom Reader is supposed to be very good, can
anyone shed any light on this? I'd also like to know if i can use the iPhone as
a portable scanner,
Not sure, but I'll keep an eye on it's performance -

Yes I know it does not happen all the time!
But because it is that command it could happen quite a lot!
Launching iTunes from the doc you will not have the problem at all!
Also when sitting on iTunes in the doc you just need to press Enter to launch!
Anyway just another option!

It probably relates to the key repeater sequencing when holding down the
option key and then pressing I for itunes in your shortcut.
The definitive answer would be if you loaded iTunes normally through the
Dock and did not get this error.

The thing is, Having just booted up, and tried the hot key combination for
iTunes, I wasn't prompted to choose a library, so it isn't happneing all the

Your best bet may be tap tap see. If you could perhaps have a finger
pointing to the button you want identified then a human operator may be able
to assist.
