Hey guys,
It's been a while since I've used Adium messenger for the mac, but I've started
using it again. So, question. When somebody sends me a message, I can't seem to
figure out where the message is for me to view, unless I click on my contacts
name to see if it came from them or not. When
You can press the command key and any of the number keys on the keyboard to go
to that conversation. The message is in the HTML content.

I've tried for example command plus the number 1, and it won't do anything. I

That's weird… When you are in adium you should be able to do the command thing
and it should work.

Yeah, but you know what, I think your suggestion about command plus accent and
then command plus / is just what I was looking for. Somebody aught to create a
voiceover short cut key guide for this, that would be helpful. :-)

Lol. as for the voice over guide all of those short cuts are labeled in the
menus. I just memorized the hot keys I need, not all of them though. I've been
using and loving adium nightly builds for over 3 years now and apart from their
ticket system being so odd that I can't submit any tickets
Thanks man, and I'm serious. If one of you who is better versed in Adium than I
could compile a list of voiceover key commands, I and I'm sure others would
find it extremely helpful.

Having a problem for the past week or so with Yorufukirou that I can’t seem to
solve.
Whenever I load it, there is a message that says “preparing” and a progress
indicator. This never goes away and my timelines for multiple accounts do not
load. In fact, nothing else happens at all. I did
Another thing you can do is command left or right arrow to cycle through
your conversations. I'll have to look at where the prefernce is but there
is also a setting where you can make each conversation its own window, so
your vo+F2 F2 for your window choose4r menu will let you go between
Jeff,
I would recommend that you install something like Apptrap or something that
will ask you if you want to kill all the preference files and stuff upon
sending to trash. Also, check and see if your wifi is messed up or not. That
looks like a wifi problem to me.

The thing with it saying it has a new window is sort of, ish, a bug. I say

and I also get the preparing thing. Try pinging a web site via the terminal and

Could it be possible that you have it set as I stated earlier where each
conversation is in a seperet window, instead of within a separate tab in the
same window? I could potentially see how that wouldn't allow those commands
to work if so. I dono... just a thought worth looking at perhaps.
They broke something in the latest nightly build where th ebutons don't read
correctly with voice over and all you will here in the prefs is button. I did
email them so we'll see what happens in the next few updates, but I'm just
letting you know in case it makes it in the next public release
When you say nightly builds, I'm aware of the betas, which you can enable
through preferences, but is that what you're talking about, Sarah? If not,
how do I go about getting the nightlies?

Jeff, I'd have to agree with Ben partially. Not entirely though.
I agree with Ben that it could! ok, key word, could! be a wifi or ethernet
issue. Remember Ben, just because you're on wifi doesn't mean everyone is.
He might actually be on ethernet, so don't just assume that as the only
That's why I said, I don't think it's totally wifi or network related.

So, it sounds to me like probably one of your PList preferences files
