I am trying to use the FTP option in Mavericks server. I have no problem
logging on to the server via FTP but I am not able to access the files even
though I have the server pointing to the necessary dirrectory. Any thoughts on
how I can resolve this problem?

Always check your permissions for the user you are logging in under. That is

Ordered one of these and I should have it tomorrow, I was going to buy the
Bowers Wilkins Z2 dock but to be honest, I'm not a great fan of docks, how
long will it be before the dock standard changes again smile, at least with
AirPlay things will still work.

to accept file transfers. I’ve tried interacting with the file transfer group,
and all it says is the format of the file, and the name of the file. I’ve
tried hitting VO space on the name of the file, since VO says

File transfers are in their own separate window, which you can bring up from
the Window menu. You should be able to accept and monitor them from there.
