As I stated before you have 2 levels, mic and line in. If the mic is somethign from let's say lab tec and not let's say a shur sm58 or 81 tht requires an xlr cable or somethign from the sound profs that requres plgu in power you should be fine. Ther are no mics that don't use power. All of
