Hello all. I was playing around with the extras menu. You know how you have to
do something special to get the drop box menu or say the audio switcher app to
work? Well I tried something else and it worked. I believe it is something
different anyway lol. I am running a macbook air and the
Sorry Ven, I had to use someone as an example. I have several of these from

No, they are not marked as important, nor do I have rules set up to do this. It
just happens. The messages are also in their proper folder as well.
Every message I send goes into the important folder as well.

As I stated before you have 2 levels, mic and line in. If the mic is somethign
from let's say lab tec and not let's say a shur sm58 or 81 tht requires an xlr
cable or somethign from the sound profs that requres plgu in power you should
be fine.
Ther are no mics that don't use power. All of
Diffivult to understand what is being said here.
Anyway, I have a sony mic that requires a preamp to give it power, that's why I
was asking about the Griffin. This mic has never worked unless plugged threw a
battery source, or a recorder with a built in preamp for a mic -

In this case the imic will not work as it does not supply power, but if you can
hook the preamp up to the imic via line in, and hook the mic to fthe preamp you
might get a quieter noise flor.
Take care.

I use the Brookshires app. It’s quite accessible and you can keep track of the
points you’ve earned.

Ah, This is what I was suspecting, and why I was asking if the Griffin had
preamp capabilities to supply power to the mic. But as it doesn't, then I need
a different solution. I asked in an earlier post if an external sound card
could power the mic, but I got no feedback on that, so don't know
I don't know of any soudn cards taht can power external mics except for
consols which can run you in to the hundreds like mine.s I think guitar center
sells preamps but I really don't know.

Hi,
I tried to post earlier, but I was reading your email in my personal email
account. When reading up on how to connect my turntable to record my LPS into
digital, one article mention either using a preamp or through my receiver. What
I understood was that a computer doesn't have enough
Eileen - I would imagine your turntable would have a preamp built-in, to power
up the sound before delivering it to your computer; my mic doesn't have this,
that is why I was enquiring about the Griffin, or external sound cards -
