Thanks, Gina. My main reason for wanting to use numbers is to deal with one spreadsheet which I have to issue each week. This requires that I change a few columns and occasionally have to change the header at the top of the sheet. Apart from this, I don't any longer need to use spreadsheets

Hello Carol, I'm guessing you needed to interact with the table. Numbers has layers. It maybe that the file opened at the lowest level. On top of the outline and toolbars is the layer with your table. If you stepped up to that level. You would have been navigating around the cells of the
