Help with fonts and styles on Bean

I have just downloaded Bean and I havve worked out how to bold,italic and underline text but I have a few questions which are. How do you centre text? How do you use thee style option in the font menu? How do you find out if text has gott some sort of font, style,, centre, bold etc? I mean by

Hi margaret, I'm afraid i don't use Bean, so I can't answer your specific Bean question, but here are the answers to your other questions. How do you centre text? On OS X, the command is Command+Shift+Backslash How do you find out if text has gott some sort of font, style,, centre, bold

Across the Mac, using VO T will give you font information. You will find the centre command under the format menu in Bean or you can use command | - I found this command confusing before I realised that what this really means is that you press shift command backslash on my IMac keyboard.
