There are not prefs. just share the folder by right clicking the folder and
hitting share. You can then enter in an email address or 5 and uncheck if you
want the option that others have access to invite others to it.

yes, but there is one thing you might like to know. Instead of doing thje
install the way DropBox recommends, run the application for the first time
directly from the disk image. In other word, do not copy it to your
/applications folder. That will give you access to the setup

that is the weird thing, it let me install it ok, go through the options to log
in, even sent me an email to say i had successfully connected my macbook pro
to my dropbox account.
when i open up the application though it says dropbox has no windows. how the
hell do i view anything lol.

yeah I've just tried again and can't even open the application now. wonder if
something went wrong with the installation or something like that.
