[Mac-access]: IOS: copying text from webpages using voiceover and IOS 8.2
I need to copy and paste text from several web pages, for an urgent project. I have tried pinching, but that only selects a letter, word, or line. Edit is not available on the rotor when viewing a web page. I need to extract the text so that I can use it as notes for a document, that I am preparing. I have also tried doing this with the mac, but will cover that in a separate post. I do have an iPad mini, if anyone know of a way to do this with an iPad, that won't work on the iPhone. Quadruple triple tap will always copy the last phrase spoken by Voiceover to the pasteboard. So if you read a page with #Voiceover with two finger swipe down that should be copied. Re: [Mac-access]: Updating Tweetings for Mac | Powerful Twitter client for iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and Kindle FIre
Oh! I confess I really didn't read this entire thread, but someone wrote saying Tweetings was the most accessible they'd ever seen, even more than YoruFukurou/Night Owl, so I was therefore just under the impression they were speaking of OSX entirely, being they mentioned the ladder. Sorry bout that. All I can say is that I know the record of Tweetings for other platforms, the developer knows his stuff when it comes to accessibility and I’m 99.5% sure that the Mac client won’t be any different to the Android or IOS cents when it comes to accessibility, if you want to view a record of how seriously the author of Tweetings takes accessibility then take a look at the review of Tweetings App in the book entitled “Tweeting Blind” by Jonathan Mosen. Re: [Mac-access]: Selecting and copying text of a web page on a mac
Hi Margaret, some webpages are different some allies you to enable the reader and use the down arrow key wall you have the rotors selected lines then you can use shifts down arrow to select the text. If this doesn't work without the reader is enabled, still have the rotor to lines, and then you shift right arrow tell you have everything selected that you want to select. Re: [Mac-access]: Selecting and copying text of a web page on a mac
Actually now safari will let you arrow this in osx. so just down arrow when you get to the place that you want to select, then shift down arrow to select by line. You can always edit the stuff you don't want out in text edit. Good luck. Nice. I'll still use twitterrific but might give tweetings a try on the mac when it's out. Actually it's on the app store now.
