Hello Hatch,
If all you want to do is be able to read in French, you just need to download
one of the French voices that are available free with OS x. You have a choice
of Virginie, Audrey, Thomas and Sébastien. To get them, you open VoiceOver
Utility (VO-F8) and go to the Speech category.
Sounds to me like your Nano is still paired. Try plugging the device you want
to hear directly into the Soundlink with a 1/8 inch cord and see if you get
sound.

Hi all. I was reading a twitter discussion yesterday about boot camp and
someone said win clone can back up the partition. This is true, but I thought
until this morning it was abandon ware as we had discussed it on this list 2
years ago. Has it been that long? lol! Anyways I did some hunting

What if any problems do you have charging the phone? You'd need to use the

Bose doesn't I guess the connection it's making is impaired in some way. I've
seen instances where the device might be leaning just slightly
hi i've done that and still no luck, surely it can't be the phone because it
charges ok?

HI.
Its worth turning the volume up on the IPhone once you start something
playing when its docked.
IN other words, start something playing, dock the phone, then hold the
volume up button on the IPhone.
This simple thogh it sounds may be the issue especially as the phone is
charging when
Iv'e also seen this. Iv'e reported to apple but it's one of those bugs where
it's a random thing and hard to reproduce.
but try that anyways and see if you can do that as that might very well be the
issue.
Take care and be blessed.

I doubt it would be the phone. One of the pins on your dock must be slightly
bent, that's all I can imagine, and for whatever reason your Nano is making a
good enough connection to play in spite of that.

Hi again.
I'm no expert and would never attempt to make definitive statements, however
it does now sound like something could be a mis either with the IPhone
connector or the doc.
I wonder if you could try docking to another device and see if you get the
same problem.
If you don't then the problem
thanks anyway terry, i reckon it has got something to do with the phone, as my
