I'm having issues when closing applications.
When I press cnd and w the application closes.
However, when I press cnd tab, it opens the finder window, the application is
still showing up as running.
What an I doing wrong?

It's actually cmd q to quit the application. cmd w closes the window or in some
cases windows if you hit it more then once.

the thing i miss most about winamp is the ability to jump quickly to parts of a
file. you can jump to time in VLC how ever, you have to put your time in
seckonds and if you want to jump say an hour that is hard. as for iTunes as far
as i know you can't jump to time at all.
