the interesting thing I've found is, if you have your cursor on the chat grid
and a new chat message comes in, it's automatically read out. however, this is
not the case if you have cursor tracking turned off.

Is it possible to do remote access from the mac to a windows machine? My

Also, the person using windows is v.i, and uses a screen reader.
The only suggestion I can make is that you experiment with settings in
Voiceover with Fine reader in focus that result in these messages not being
announced. If necessary you can mute speech. Once you have found the settings
that suit you create an activity setting in Voiceover Utility which

Resetting VoiceOver is done via the VoiceOver Utility
Control+OPtion+F8 under the File menu, you have 3 options:
Reset basic VoiceOver preferences,
Reset custom VoiceOver preferences, and
Reset all VoiceOver preferences.

The first field is your user name. skype has always mis read that as a combo
box. it's actually an edit field. but type in your user name and then tab and
type in your password in the secure field then tab to the check box and check
that to sign in to skype always. Now hit enter.

Hi Michael,
I experience the same issue with ABBYY FineReader Express. I suspect FineReader

I suppose I have a dinosaur computer then, I still have the one that has the

eventually resolve itself but sometimes it won't so I'll have to quit and
