I opened an Excel spreadsheet in Numbers, and apart from getting a message
telling me that the Excel font wasn't recognised, and choosing Aerial as a
replacement, the spreadsheet opened ok in Numbers, and looked as I expected it

To make a Numbers document readable in Excel, you need to use the Export
command from the File menu. In the submenu, you'll find several options
including Excel.

No I don't have iTunes match. mainly because I have over 170 thousand songs in
my library. and that's not countingitunes stuff I bought. lol! so for me iTunes
match won't do me any good as it will only take the first I think it's 25
thousand songs. that you did not buy from iTunes.

No. it should take between 1 and 4 hours to fully rip a dvdm in to video.
Especially if you are compressing it in to mp4 for example. Also it depends on
your system specks, that is, ram processor, how many apps you have open, etc
