Drop box on Yosemite fixed

2014-10-20 Thread Paul Hopewell
Hello,
I am pleased to say that drop box 2.11.28 fixed the problem that the context
menu items to copy the link to a file in dropbox/public was missing in Yosemite
with earlier releases of dropbox. Dropbox 2.11.28 is a beta release but if you
google it you can find a link to download it.

iBooks on iPad question

2014-10-20 Thread Timothy J. Meloy
Hi all,
I am using an iPad mini retina display with iBooks. When I go under my
purchases in iBooks on my iPad it shows that all of my books are downloaded.
But when I go under the my books tab to choose a book to read voiceover says
that there is an empty list. So I can't see any of the books that I have
apparently already downloaded onto my iPad. Any suggestions?
Thank u,
TJ

My Observations with the new RadioLogik

2014-10-20 Thread Joshua Tubbs
Hi everyone,
I’ve been testing RadioLogik for at least two years now, and had it not been
for me notifying the developer about accessibility, it probably wouldn’t be
there. Anyway, lots of things read now, a little more so than when I tried it
around July.
What I still do not get though, and Gordan you may correct me on this, is that
if the app is totally accessible, I still cannot add things to the program cue
from the library tab, which I believe you can do. Is there a way this is
possible now that I’m not seeing? Everything I can see with VoiceOver other
than the song list to add to cue. Or do I have to add everything from a
playlist? For example, if you search your library for Rock, you can’t see the
results that come up and you can either search via keyword, or search by
playlist. Either way, if you select a playlist or search by keyword you still
cannot see your results.
So, is there a way to effectively cue stuff with just the app itself? I have an
iTunes script that a forum person made for me when getting around the app was
simply impossible without a lot of guesswork, but now that most things are
accessible now, including the Keyboard Reference which was not a few months
ago, it’s safe to say that maybe I’m missing something.
Thanks. This app is great. Now if only I can figure out how to make the
scheduler plan a 1-2 hour show, out of curiosity sake more than anything, but
also I want to start online broadcasting and, with SPL, you can just go in and
start selecting media files, and play them. Not so much with this app. So I’m
still trying to work out how I’d do shows with this.

Actually I figured out how to add a program from a folder on my external drive.
I could not figure out how to stop it from playing so I can continue working.
I'm still trying the program out but I plan on with an itunes playlist I
created do a 3 hours who on haloween night, clicking the continue button every
half hour of corse. lol!

Btw the dev let me know the mouse location for that continue button changes so
you have to as quick as you can route and vo click.

Take care.

First, when the new upgrade was installed, I had to reselect the

Second, I wanted the full voice, but don't know if it
downloaded. How do I get the full English/US voice, and not the compact on?

The below will work in any Finder window including open and save windows.
1. Downloads: option-command-l
2. Documents: command-shift-o
again this works from any Finder window and isn't new in Yosemite.

Re: Trying to open the download and document folder on the Dock?

2014-10-20 Thread David Griffith
In order to access folders on the dock with Voiceover you nee dot assign
different view settings to the default.
You need to set the view option away from the default stack to folder and
specify the view option as list also. This requires repeatedly entering the
options of the dock item with shift vo m.

Voiceover Crashing On My iMac, I'm stumped

2014-10-20 Thread Dane Trethowan
Hi!

Tis mystery is baffling me and has done for quite some time, I’m hoping that
perhaps someone on list has had a similar problem and they may have found a way
to solve it.

I use the Peter Infovox Voice on my iMac but for some reason this voice stops
working mainly when I’m writing an eMail.

I try turning Voiceover off and then on again but voice doesn’t return though I
do get a few effects output through the speakers which indicate to me that
Voiceover is now running.

Computer seems to be working normally thank Goodness which at least means that
I can restart the machine and continue from where I left off in my eMail
writing.

Okay so at first I thought that what may be needed was a clean OS X install
which I did but to my horror the problem keeps on appearing.

Intresting. I do not have that issue. Try a permissions repair to see if
 that fixes it.

Adding The Date Added Column to The Songs Table In iTunes

2014-10-20 Thread Dane Trethowan
H!

I’m using the latest iTunes and I like the new Interface on the whole though
its taking some getting used to when it comes to finding out where everything
is now.

One thing I can’t find is where one adds the “Date Added” column, I used to
sort my “Songs” and “Playlists” by this so if anyone has any ideas then they’d
be much appreciate.

Re: IOS 8.1

2014-10-20 Thread Mark
It didn't fix the challenge of trying to move an app from one page to another.
Apps that are on a page that's full. Cannot move them from those pages. So, no
pics there :-)
