Drop box on Yosemite fixed
Hello, I am pleased to say that drop box 2.11.28 fixed the problem that the context menu items to copy the link to a file in dropbox/public was missing in Yosemite with earlier releases of dropbox. Dropbox 2.11.28 is a beta release but if you google it you can find a link to download it. Best regards…. Re: Drop box on Yosemite fixed
Since it is in beta no it will not, not until it is pushed out to the public. Take care. Re: Drop box in Yosemite
I have discussed this with DropBox support and they are looking into it. In all probability they say they will be releasing an OS X update to fix this. Meanwhile, we’ll just have to wait. But watch the DropBox forum. I too have been testing Yosemite as a fully paid up developer and have been quite impressed to see some of the changes. This OS represents a far more significant upgrade than Mavericks was, and still it is free. Microsoft, maybe you can learn a lesson or two here. Overall I am pretty happy with Yosemite but do have a concern re drop box. In Maverick I could send someone a link to a file in my drop box. I used to locate the desired file in dropbox/public and use the context menu to copy a link to that file into my clipboard. I could then paste that link into an Email to enable the recipient to access that file from my drop box. the Email recipient did not have to be a drop box user. In Yosemite I cannot find the option to copy the link to a file in my drop box.
