Thanks for that.

I used the Mac Mini under Mavericks as you know but haven’t tried with the
latter, the machine worked quite okay with that and ran every task I put before
it which included recording, streaming, chat and so forth.

Yes, a little slow but nothing to worrying, a bit like an iPhone 5 running IOS
8.

the machine as you’ve probably gathered by now has 4GB of memory but I don’t
think this can be upgraded any further.

You cannot play a recording back. that broke apparently in the gm build so
I've been told. but to record all you do in an imessage only is hit record
audio and talk, then hit stop recording when done, then send.

Re: [Mac-access]: Recording Voice iMessages with OS 10.10

2014-11-04 Thread Eileen Misrahi
I scrolled down and read another post regarding how to listen to an audio
message. The first thing is you need to go into settings-messages-and to the
audio recording heading. Make sure Raise to Listen is checked. This is a
toggle, so double-tap on it to turn it on. Now, this is what I have read. To
listen to a audio message, raise the phone to your ear. When you want to
record a response, raise the phone to your ear again. Like I said, I haven't
had a chance to send an audio message yet. HTH.

To be clear raise to listen is under ios. I can't imagine anyone holding a mac

As the Mac Access Dot Net administrators, we always strive to ensure that
the Mac-Access E-Mal list remains malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and
worm-free. However, this should in no way replace your own security
strategy. We assume neither liability nor responsibility should
 something unpredictable happen.
