In the finder window when I click on network on the sidebar the two PC'S
on my network do not show up. When I select connect to server from the
GO menu I have to enter the computer's network IP address or the PC'S
name in order to connect.

I have a friends iBook with OS 8.2.X installed. I went through all the
latest updates and after rebooting the dock disappeared. Also around the
icons on the desktop there is a black rectangle. Any ideas what happened?

Sorry, I didn't read the replies. So are you saying the your palm will synch
correctly if you re-install the software? The Macfixit site said it was a
problem with the palm software and it needed to be updated. Has anyone had
such an experience?
