The format of FileMaker database files hasn't changed since they
totally revamped it with FileMaker 7. Databases created with FMP 7, 8,
8.5, and 9 will all have the .fp7 extension. They will all open each
others' files as well. Later versions of the FileMaker program will be
able to
the uniqueness and value of 'this list mail' is the wide variety of
expertise within it's membership, and the diligence of contribution.
