[MacGroup] controlling wires

2007-12-20 Thread S Blake
I have recycled the plastic springs from spiral notebooks-- cut them into 1 segments wrap them around the wires at intervals. Sometimes, they slide down, but are easy to slide back. I really dislike the view of the snake pit, and this has been helpful. Suzanne Blake

2007-12-03 Thread S Blake
I recently had to reinstall my OS, but couldn't get the CD open to load the OS. I was taught to do it from the open firmware panel. It's tricky to reach for my small hands, but I eventually did it. Disconnect any external HD. Turn off computer. Restart with the button while holding down

[MacGroup] connecting problems

2007-06-04 Thread S Blake
My browser is able to connect for a minute or two at a time occasionally, but you have to be hovering there to catch the golden moment. I am also occasionally having to mail later because the computer thinks we're not connected. I figure our connections are okay since it works sometimes.
