tried youtube tv but there is no way to get closed captions on all channels that its available on. you have to click on each individual program and CC for that program only. Thought I was doing something wrong so got on live chat. The chat guy couldnt believe it either and had to check. Came back

Sandy It has our local channels and most sports packages.I signed up for for trial and thought I was missing something as there was no place to turn on Closed Captions for all channels that have them. Got on live chat and found only option is to go to bottom of each one u want cc on and turn on.

Paying a monthly fee for iTunes, Netflix, Acorn, PBS, KET, HULU, etc, etc then paying to watch a syndicated series I’m getting close to the cost of cablebut it’s worth not being held captive by cable, we will eventually see cable lower their prices to compete, or get out of the broadcast

Tom, Do you want the news from the local channels or the network programming. If news, perhaps the TV stations’ apps will stream their news, I our local NBC affiliate’s app does this. But if you want to watch network programming you can do that on line. We have watched missed ABC & NBC shows
