Hi all —
I know Ed and others have educated the group on Tivo many times, but searching
past emails I don’t see specifics on recording shows from YouTube TV streaming
service. I would like to purchase a DVR device for my husband for Christmas so
I’m hoping to get some advice if Tivo is the

Thanks, Ed and Tom. I agree YouTube TV DVR is good mostly, but the 9 months
storage doesn’t work. I want to keep recordings indefinitely. The other issue
is if we switch to a different streaming service the DVR is gone. So, I’d like
to purchase a physical DVR and record movies, shows, etc. that
There’s is Channel’s and a Homerun DVR server

You can have the app on an Apple TV and then a Homerun DVR server.
This is a more high tech solution.
Really the future of tv is on demand
Viewing. Everything one would want is available on the net now days.
I'll check out Channels and Homerun DVR. Thanks much everyone for your input
and suggestions.
