Hi,
I'm watching the development a bit longer now. It seems that there are already
some MBP people testing it:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11281
The git log of the driver is here:

Hi,
is there a way to activate mic boost for a MBP C1D (kernel 2.6.21)? Did some
tests over skype before and it worked but was very quiet. I had a look in
kmix and alsamixer but couldn't find the mic boost option. Is there a way to
boost up the microphone? In OSX it is way louder

There is a patch for the appletouch drivers:
http://www.linuxpowertop.org/known.php#appletouch
Haven't tried it yet.
And a new version of PowerTOP (1.1).

Can I perhaps have your kernel config? I have the same but can't get it to
work.

Hi,
I have a problem with suspending:
I (MBP C1D) have to remove CONFIG_BLK_DEV_PIIX from my kernel to get it to
sleep (otherwise I see a blinking cursor which won't go away even if I close
the lid) with:
# echo "mem" > /sys/power/state
Suspend and resume works fine!
But the cdrom stop

Hi
just found this tool:
http://websupport.sk/~stanojr/projects/atipower/
Perhaps people could try it where 'aticonfig --lsp' is not running.
For me it has the same output as --lsp.

Why can't this be fixed? Or is that an ALSA thing?

Hi,
I'm running a patched 2.6.20 kernel with the kernel ALSA driver.
What helps me to get the mic running is the Line - Mic switch out of the
gentoo-wiki page. Have you tried this? Then I have sond in e.g. Audacity.
Is this fixed in 2.6.21? Haven't tried this yet. But it would be nice to have

Hello,
I'm using kernel 2.6.20 with mactel patches (from SVN) but I can't get the
microphone to work. When I open audacity there is just some noise (I can
switch it off and on, but can't hear me).
I tried an external one too but without success.
Is there a way to get it running?
Greetings
