Thanks, My first challenge of today is going to be my Ipod and I am
hoping it goes as smoothly as everything else has gone. I am a bit
nervous because I had it set up for windows and don't want to scramble

My recommendation is adium from http://www.adiumx.com
This is a multi-purpose client which really does a good job for msn
yahoo and various other chat clients.

Hi all:
Fixed the iTunes issue.
Simply down graded to 8.0. LOL Not sure if 8.1.1 is any better,
nervous to try.

Hi to the list. I just purchased a Epson flatbed scanner model vx30

Hi:
I have a question about skype. Is there a list of keyboard commands
for Skype? I can't figure out ow to answer a call. I can navigate fine
and I can make a call and hang up but can't find a command for
answering an incoming call.
Thanks
Hi there,
I don't know about a list of keyboard commands (I'd be curious
about that too), but I do know that when a call comes in it's in a
different window that you need to navigate to. Go to the window
chooser menu with VO + F2 (hold down control and option and hit F2
twice
just hit enter. the message will send.

If you click on the answer button, it will answer the call . When an
incoming call comes, you will see three buttons, the first being the
answer button, and the others the decine button and the chat button.
Click on the answer button to answer the call, and if you want to
reject the call,
Eliza, the term is quick answer. That's the title found in the window
chooser menu.

Hi. I got a lot of help with this myself, so will pass some of it
forward. The program usually used for scanning and/or OCR on the Mac
seems to be Vuescan. You'll need drivers for the Mac for your
scanner, if you don't already have them installed. Download and

Hi there. I'm kind of a new user and just got a Macbook off Ebay a few weeks
ago. I tried to install DTBMaker to try and convert some Bookshare books
into audio with the Alex voice to eventually put on my Victor Stream. I
don't care for the voices built into the stream for long-term reading
As the author of DTBmaker I would suggest moving over to DAISY
Pipeline which is a much more complete solution for doing this.
