accessible. That is, you can set up accounts no problems, and you can manage
preferences and so on, but the mailboxes as well as the messages table are just
presented to VO as empty tables.

Hi all!
I've sent a suggestion to Apple access to make Apps more easier to find by
adding something like [vo] to the titles if the App is vo friendly!
They have forwarded it to the appropriate people!

Yep you can password protect your Imac as you can with Macbook Pro etc no
trouble.
The Imac as does every other Mac comes with parental control by default, I've
never tried to use it as I have no need smile.

Sadly, wc will only work for text input files, and would probably give very
misleading results if used on a Pages or RTF file. I'd recommend against

Sudoku is and has been an interest of mine for about 4 years, and when I play I
use a braille note-taker.
I've used a braille lite 40, and now use a braille sense. I prefer the 40 cell
display and set up of the braille lite, but can use the sense just as well.
The thoughts on this are

To expand on Sarah's comment about using the Shift key to select, you can use
VO-F6 to check which items are selected. This is particularly useful when you
are selecting items in a list non-contiguously, and want to review them. This
woks quite generally for selections of all sorts
Voice Over F6 will read you everything in the selection.

As it turned out, the solution was far simpler than anyone could
imagine. All I had to do was turn Numpad commander off. Once I did
that, the Numeric keypad numbers
worked perfectly.
