Whenever I connect my iPhone to my Mac, for charging, transferring
songs or for whatever reason, all the third party apps stop working
after I disconnect my phone from my Mac.
They stop working in the sense that the

in which the system boots up or returns from sleep. Also, copying or moving
files and folders on the system is quite fast as well. I have 512 GB of SSD in
my Mac Book Pro, and I find it worth the money.

I also took out my optical drive and replaced it with the original Hard drive
that came in my Macbook pro. Just keep in mind, TRIM will not be enabled

system preferences/energy saver, under schedule, all you can do is set
start/wake up times, and sleep times.
