Has anyone successfully used bookmarks in VLC? I found a way to add bookmarks to selected parts of a long file but can't seem to find a way to jump to them. You can open the bookmark window with Command+b and I can add, delete or clear all bookmarks but there is no jump available. The

Becky, for radio, I highly recommend Radiom three. I believe it cost $10. But it's very accessible, and you will be able to search for stations and then save them as favorites. The streams are consistent, I haven't lost one yet. Granted, I've only use this program for about two weeks though.

You can also just use iTunes' radio section. If you like station, I'd add it to a playlist you create for the purpose so you can get to it easily. As to books, not much is currently available, but iBooks will arrive with OS10.9 this fall and can red PDF, EPub, and more. If you have an iOS

Try going to settings, notifications, then (I think) alerts. It is not part of the notification center settings, but there is an option in there that lets you set how often a text or call will repeat its alert - sounds like yours is on the bug me until I do something about it setting. smile On

That's what i get for not checking. I was thinking of the messages setting: settings, notifications, messages, repeat alerts. I have mine set to never, so I am only notified once. I don't know if that will solve your problem, since you said it is the phone app, but it might be worth a shot.
