My Macbook Pro 13 inch non-retina is coming up to a year next month.
Should I consider getting Apple Care for this product? As in, should I
sign up now or is it too late? Someone said one can sign up to Apple
Care at least a year after they purchased their Mac computer.

Thanks to your advice, I have signed up to Apple Care for my Mcbook Pro
13 Inch.
I went for the plan that covers Macbook Air and 13 Inch Macbook Pro.
Well that's what the store says anyway.
Cost was £199 including Vat and delivery is free.

did, I would have to purchase it within a day or I would be ineligible, and

I'm trying to erase the disk on my old MBA. In Dis Utility I've selected the
disk, and the format, but when I go to click Security Options, VO says the
button is dimmed. I've tried selecting both the Apple SSD and the Macintosh
HD, but neither works. Anyone know what I might be

let you. You'll need to boot from another volume first. That could be
tricky with an MBA as you don't have a DVD drive to boot from. Maybe if
you boot from the recovery partition it will let you format the main
partition.
