Hi there Thanks guys. It never occurred to me to open the folder because in Mountain lion you didn't open the folder. I will try that next time. The other thing I have done is to set up some aliases on my desktop so I can get to the folders a little faster. I did manage to paste in the aliases

You can go into the messages menu and choose move, and pick a mailbox from the list. You can move multiple messages this way. Also, if you have a numbered mailbox in your favorites bar, let’s say “saved messages” for example is on number 1, you can move a message to that box by pressing
