Personally, ChromeVox is invaluable in learning Google Docs. I tried learning it with Voiceover and I got nowhere. Your iOS experience may be better, as I’ve heard lots of folks prefer it to the Mac with VO, but ChromeVox really isn’t all that hard to learn and works like a charm in Docs,
