Text and source code editors for Mac OS - again

2019-05-09 Thread 'Jason White' via MacVisionaries
This is really a separate thread in the “text editor” discussion that has taken place on the list recently. On the Mac, I tend to use TextMate for editing. However, it hasn’t received any updates for quite a while. Although it still works (at least for now), I’m wondering whether there is an

Muting Voiceover sounds or speech

2019-05-09 Thread Traci Duncan
Hi all, I can do this on iPhone easily. Is there a way to separate speech and sounds mute on the Mac? I notice if I mute speech, when I unmute it, it unmutes sounds as well. I like my Voiceover sounds off at all times. Any tips how I can mute and unmute one without changing the other? Thanks,

Hi yeah it's is a known issue currently so if your really worried about it then your best bet is to use a virtual environment such as vm fusion or virtual box. That way you don't need to re image your machine just delete the virtual machine. -Original Message- From: 'Danny Keys' via
